The Off Grid WX Modular Field Reference Guide was created by amateur radio and outdoors enthusiasts who realized that retaining access to information, without relying on vulnerable electronics and network infrastructure, is critical.

The Field Reference Guide was developed and is hand-built in the US by Amateur Radio operator Austin, KC2SAH, using waterproof and durable Rite in the Rain© binders and paper (also made in the US!). When combined with writing tools by Rite in the Rain©, Staedtler©, etc. you can carry a lightweight and rugged all-weather solution for your data and note-taking for any outdoors endeavor.

One size does NOT fit all! We designed the Field Reference Guide to be a modular starting point, giving each user the flexibility to tailor and fine-tune their off grid information based on their own needs. Don’t need a certain piece of information? Take it out. Want to add something more critical? Add it in. It’s your call.
